However, Eileen couldn’t be more delighted to move on to the new chapter of her life.catches up with her she is catching up with her sisters and looking to the future.
“I hope to spend appreciative of life and how her only more time doing the things I love, plan for the next few months, is to with the people I love,” she tells us to ensure there’s no plan at all!Speaking of her retirement, she tells us simply: “I’m feeling great, the world is my oyster now! I’ve done a couple of nice things recently; a concert in Ballina and one at Christ Church for Christmas, and that’s the way I want to continue the year.
“I never want to work full time again. I’ll take on nice projects that appeal to me. I don’t want to be too busy.” However, she goes on to list off the groups she’s involved in including the Kennedy Summer School in New Ross, she’s on the board for St. Francis Hospice and she’s involved with the Association of European Journalists.But she will definitely be taking some time for herself, as she quickly adds: “My son is in Barcelona and when the sun starts shining in March I might go see him on a random Saturday or just decide to go down the country, without any ties.
