Gardai and emergency services are at the scene of a helicopter crash after the alarm was raised at 3.30pm.
A brief garda statement on the incident has been released - with more updates expected to follow shortly.The helicopter that crashed outside Killucan was a single-engine aircraft with four seats, according to information emerging from the scene.Reports from close to the scene say that the nature of the crash has made it difficult for emergency services to get to the casualties.The Air Accident Investigation Unit has been notified of the accident and is deploying a team of inspectors to the site.
