Emergency services and police are at the scene in Giffnock after a pedestrian was struck by a bus on Fenwick Road at around 5pm this evening. The current condition of the victim is unknown.

Police were called to reports of a crash involving a bus and a pedestrian at around 5pm on Fenwick Road, Giffnock. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5pm on Friday, September 1, 2023, we were called to a report of a crash involving a bus and a pedestrian on Fenwick Road, Giffnock. "Fenwick Road, Giffnock is closed due to a crash involving a bus and a pedestrian which happened around 5pm. Emergency services are at the scene."Drivers are urged to avoid the area."
