The young mum said she felts she didn't have anyone to talk to for days as she got to grips with being a parent

Emily Andre has opened up about the struggles she endured after starting her family with pop legend Peter Andre - saying she couldn’t leave her home for days after becoming a mother.

Now Emily has explained that the aftermath of childbirth left her unable to leave home - and says other young mothers should make sure they keep communications open after becoming a parent. “Luckily as time has gone on I’ve become a lot more confident and able to tackle parenting challenges,” she continued.

“You may feel it’s embarrassing to say you’ve been stuck at home for a week or you haven’t had anyone to talk to all day or you haven’t showered in a few days, but it’s better to be honest and open up if you’re struggling,” she added.
