Spider-Man: No Way HomeDespite the Emma revelation, this isn’t the first time Andrew has addressed the “lies” recently. Earlier this month, the star sat down withto discuss his return to the franchise, and he admitted that having to lie about his involvement was “rather stressful but also weirdly enjoyable.”
Andrew described the experience as a “massive game of Werewolf” that he had to play with journalists and other people guessing, which he said was “very fun.” “There were moments where I was like, ‘God, I hate lying.’ I don’t like to lie and I’m not a good liar, but I kept framing it as a game. And I kept imagining myself purely as a fan of that character, which is not hard to do,” Andrew said.
“I'm really humbled by it, to be honest. I'm very very touched by it and I owe a lot of that to Amy Pascal and to Kevin for bringing me into the fold and allowing me to have another crack, and to audiences for their generosity,” Andrew continued. “In terms of moving forward with the character, yes, I am definitely open to that, and again, it would have it be something very unique, very special, and of service to an audience, of service to the character.
