Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper opens up about her current storyline in the ITV soap which has been tough to film, and even harder for her loved ones to watch
Emmerdale viewers have been appalled as life for Belle Dingle has only gotten worse since she tied the knot with her abusive husband, Tom King . Belle has been physically abused, and manipulated by Tom. When we speak with actress Eden Taylor-Draper , who plays Belle, she tells OK! that the tough storyline hasn’t been easy for her friends and family to see play out.
As Belle attempts to escape Tom’s clutches, she’s stopped in her tracks as she makes a horrifying discovery - she's pregnant. What might be happy news for some, is devastating for Belle. Belle seeks out Wendy for advice and is determined to keep the pregnancy quiet until she can organise to go to a clinic. But her plan doesn’t quite work as Belle is forced to confess she’s expecting when Tom becomes violent.
“There are so many emotions for Belle, because now she’s trapped with him knowing she is pregnant and her knowing she doesn’t want to have a baby with him.”
