Emmerdale fans couldn't hide their surprise on Wednesday night, when it was revealed Kim Tate had teamed up with unlikely ally Cain Dingle to rumble Caleb Miligan's fraud plot
There was plenty of drama afoot Emmerdale on Wednesday evening when the immediate aftermath of Nicky Miligan’s bombshell confession began to ricochet throughout Home Farm. As regular viewers will know, Nicky admitted to his blushing future bride Gabby Thomas that he couldn’t marry her on Tuesday, before dropping the bombshell that he was, in fact, gay.
As Nicky sat bloodied and bruised at his dad’s cruelty, Caleb made a hasty exit to try and clear out Kim’s bank account as quickly as possible - but not before demanding his son take the fall for the crime. Urging him to run now before the police could catch him, a horrified Nicky could hardly believe what he was hearing as Caleb departed to try and salvage his plans.
Cain Dingle then appeared at Kim’s side, as his brother Caleb began to babble about it all being a misunderstanding, something which prompted Cain to shove Caleb to the floor as he accused him of lying. The unlikely team-up came as a real surprise to many fans, as Cain and Kim have rarely seen eye to eye in recent years. The duo’s tenuous alliance comes on the back of Kim’s decision to purchase Butlers Farm and save Cain and wife Moira Barton from financial ruin.
