Emmerdale fans were completely taken-aback at the twist involving Jacob Gallagher during tonight's dramatic instalment of the ITV soap as it became clear that the youngster had secretly fallen for Victoria Sugden .
The reality finally dawned during the latest episode, Tuesday 19 September, when Jacob asked his dad to get Victoria to come and visit him in the hospital, after she accidentally caused a severe allergic reaction when she gave him something with nuts in.
