They took to Twitter to complain following the latest episode
It was quite the emotional rollercoaster for the Dingle family tonight after Samson called social services on Amelia. As Amelia refused to give her baby up for adoption, Samson hoped the authorities would take her away to "free" himself of the tot.
However, his sinister plan did not come to fruition and instead he caused much anguish for various family members. During the episode, various shots showed Amelia holding Esther, but viewers were not convinced it was a real baby in each of them.Anne Mackle wrote on Twitter: "Why can't they have a real baby lying in her arms. Or at least a weighed doll same size as a baby. It just looks daft!"Kayleigh Gove said: "Oh Jesus, at least get something a little less... Rigid.
Posting a picture of a doll, a third wrote: "GP will highly likely discover there’s something not quite right about Amelia’s baby." It comes after Emmerdale fans "worked out" when Paddy Kirk will learn the truth about his wife Chas Dingle's affair with Al Chapman. Tuesday's episode ended with a dramatic cliffhanger as Chas shoved her husband away as she yelled at him asking why he had never left her.
Paddy looked shocked and confused by Chas' words as she stormed out of the room in floods of tears. And now viewers are convinced the penny has dropped for him.
