Caleb Miligan's attacker was revealed as Nicky on Tuesday but fans at home have shared their theories about a potential new suspect after Belle Dingle was visited by PC Swirling
As the investigation into who pushed Caleb Miligan from a ridge continued on Tuesday, several villagers were in the frame as part of the soap’s ongoing whodunnit before his son Nicky was unveiled as his attacker in a bedside confession.
However, despite the bombshell, some fans at home think there could be another culprit after Belle Dingle was treated to a terrifying blast from the past just when her life appeared to be going so well. Taking to social media to share their surprising prediction, one fan wrote: “Lachlan out of prison and he’s the one who pushed Caleb?“A third then weighed in as they wrote: “Would be one hell of a plot twist! It would be a real curve ball to have attacked Caleb.”
A master manipulator, Lachlan even threatened to lie to his relatives that Robert had sexually abused him, leading Aaron Dingle to kidnap him and threaten him with violence. In the aftermath of the kidnapping, Lachlan’s behaviour soon worsened, with the troubled teen even resorting to murder after his true colours were revealed.
