Michael Parr, who played the character for the last five years, announced he was leaving Emmerdale earlier this year.

And Charity feels similarly about Moses, not wanting to be separated from her little boy just because Ross wants to leave the village. She encourages him to wait a few months, hoping that this would give them enough time to sort the situation before leaving.
