ITV bosses have revealed its new Sunday evening schedule after programmes were taken off air following the sad news of Queen Elizabeth II's death earlier this week
Emmerdale is set to return to TV screens after ITV changed its schedule following the sad news of Queen Elizabeth II's death at age 96.
Now, viewers will have the chance to catch up on Thursday's hour-long Emmerdale episode after ITV announced its new Sunday evening line-up, which will see the soap aired at 6:35pm. A release date for Friday's episode is not yet known. "ITV will also be showing a number of documentaries about the Queen and the new King over the coming days. No advertising will run during any of the Royal coverage."
The Queen's death comes just over a year after her beloved husband Prince Philip peacefully passed away on 9 April 2021 and just months after nationwide celebrations for her Platinum Jubilee.
