There’s another shock in store Suni arrived in town to see cousin Jai get married, but he ended up sticking around as a source of support when his Uncle Rishi had an untimely demise at the bottom of the stairs in Emmerdale. With Jai grieving the loss of his dad while coming to terms with learning about his paternity, Suni stuck around, and slowly built himself a lovely home with a new boyfriend and a sweet new job.
Suni struggles to get his head around the bombshell that his dad and Jai’s mum had a thing, and that Jai didn’t tell him after all the heat he gave Rishi for his lies. Laurel tries to reassure Jai, who is beating himself up over the revelation. Suni has settled in well to life in the village He’s desperate for Suni to forgive him, but Laurel surprises him by telling him to back off or risk their relationship altogether.
