She was on long-running soap Emmerdale for 19 years, and now, actress Charley Webb has revealed she has no regrets about leaving.She said last year in an Instagram Q&A: "I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t.”
Charley did make a brief return to Emmerdale as Debbie was unmasked as Al Chapman's mystery woman. But she left after exposing his cheating and insisted she would return when she had a manager for her business in Scotland. Charley will also be seen on stage in Quiz, a play about the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? coughing scandal. Charley will star as Diana Ingram alongside Rory Bremner, who is playing Chris Tarrant and Lewis Reeves, who plays Charles Ingram, in the touring production.
