Emmerdale star Sally Dexter has admitted that she would refuse to leave the ITV soap until her character Faith Dingle repaired her relationship with on-screen son Cain Dingle.

Talking about her hopes for Cain and Faith to repair their relationship, Sally admitted: "It would be dreadful if it didn't, we'd be left on a minor chord, the song wouldn't be finished, it would be terrible. I couldn't bear that, in fact, I’d refuse to leave until it was resolved..."Speaking about the importance of her storyline, Sally added: "It's 100 percent vital we do it justice.
