An alligator on a leash that is registered as an emotional support animal gave Philadelphia park-goers a surprise last weekend
, the alligator, named Wally, is reptile enthusiast Joie Henney’s emotional support animal.
“We were just walking by LOVE Park and saw this kid playing with an alligator in the fountain,” Britt Miller“Of course, there was a ton of people around taking pictures. The girl seemed to be with her family, who were sitting off to the side. They were super friendly. People were picking up the alligator, petting it, all sorts of stuff.”that when Wally was 15 months old, he rescued Wally and two other gators.
When Henney was diagnosed with cancer, his doctor recommended that Wally be registered as an emotional support animal.
