Tay'Andre Warren became Harrisburg's 21st homicide victim of the year this weekend when he was shot near the intersection of 3rd and Kelker streets on Saturday evening.
Dozens of people, many wearing blue, filled the intersection of 3rd and Kelker streets Monday evening, to mourn 17-year-old Tay’Andre “Fatty” Warren., according to police. He was dead when officers arrived.
One of his aunts told the crowd, the blue many of them wore and brought with them, was his Warrens’ favorite color.Kanesha Warren, another of Tay’Andre’s aunts, remembered him as a funny boy who loved to make people laugh. Warren acknowledged that Tay’Andre “did his own thing,” but that he was turning his life around to become a better person.
