Dealership issues brief statement confirming move
A well known car sales business in Northern Ireland has suspended an employee amid claims they sang a song containing the lyrics ‘up the Ra’.
The statement adds: “We do not condone any behaviour of a sectarian or discriminatory nature and this content on social media does not reflect our company or our values. The individual concerned has been suspended pending further investigation.” Asked if they would release any further details Agnew Group would only say “this issue is still currently being investigated”.
