A Glasgow charity has applied to move into an empty building to cope with increasing demand.

Glasgow's No.1 Baby and Family Support Service , based in the East End, applied for permission to take over an abandoned property at 30 Charles Street.

Audrey Dempsey, founder and service manager of the charity, said: “We've outgrown the building that we're in currently. “We are actually furnishing more houses than we ever have before, so we need somewhere that can accommodate the storage of furniture."
