Having made the summer switch to Anfield, Waturo Endo has opened up on his move to Liverpool and how the deal came about after spending three years at Stuttgart
Waturu Endo has admitted he was left "surprised" by his £16million summer transfer to Liverpool after almost giving up hope on securing a move away from Stuttgart.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Endo opened up on his move and revealed he didn't expect to join the Reds. He said: "I thought I still had the chance to talk to a team. I'm not young but all of the top teams can sign youngsters in the first position but if they didn't get the chance to sign the young players maybe they want experienced players.
Having played the previous three years in the Bundesliga at Stuttgart, Endo outlined the key differences between the German top-flight and the Premier League. "Everything's different: physical, technique, speed," Endo added.
