A story of enduring love stole the show at Waterford’s St Patrick’s Day Parade, with Des and Mona Manahan serving as grand marshals.
Today, parade organisers surprised them at the reviewing stand with the song that played on their first date 67 years ago - Nat King Cole’s Too Young. Led by The Barrack Street Concert Band, diversity was showcased in the parade across a variety of platforms in the arts, sports and local business groups.
