The Judge said it was costing too much to keep him in prison.
At a hearing today, Mr Justice Brian O'Moore said the only thing that would threaten Mr Burke’s freedom was if he were to breach a High Court order.
“Mr Justice Brian O’Moore, despite Enoch Burke’s refusal to comply with orders… decided today to release him for a number of reasons,” Legal Affairs Editor at the“It’s quite a lengthy ruling but among the reasons that the judge has cited are the draw on public resources of Burke continuing to remain in prison.”
Mr Burke was jailed in September after he disobeyed a High Court injunction and turned up at Wilson’s Hospital School in County Westmeath.Share this article
