Overall the teacher has spent over 400 days in prison
Transgender row teacher Enoch Burke is facing another possible stretch in Mountjoy Prison for refusing to stay away from a school he was sacked from in January of last year.
Mr Burke was back at the school yesterday for a period of time, but did not appear at the High Court. He was initially suspended from the school in summer 2022, following his reaction to being asked to call a transitioning student by a new name and the pronoun ‘they’ – something he said was against his religious beliefs.
