Eoin Murphy: RTE legend Larry Gogan only ever had one regret in life
The only regret Larry Gogan had in life was that he hadn’t travelled more with his beloved wife Florrie.
Out of studio he was a humble man, devoid of ego, who never recovered from the loss of Florrie, who died 18 years ago, aged 60, after battling breast cancer. His eyebrows rose when I brought up the Just A Minute Quiz, ultimately insisting that a large portion of the online funny answers were in fact fake.
