Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has addressed the media ahead of this weekend's must-win clash at Fulham, with pressure piling on the Dutchman after back-to-back thumpings
Erik ten Hag has disputed the fact his Manchester United side have no discernible style, but admitted they aren't executing his plans perfectly.
But Ten Hag, speaking ahead of the trip to Fulham this weekend has said that is going too far, although he did accept his players needed to carry out his instructions better. "I don't want to say that. That's too strong. The intention is clear, but the execution isn't there," he told reporters. "I came here with my philosophy, based on possession, but also to combine it with the DNA of Man United, but also with the players and their character. We combined it last year and we played very good football last season.
"None of us here can explain what Manchester United try to do in terms of how they play," the Liverpool legend said. "He has been here now nearly 18 months. We've seen Unai Emery come in at Aston Villa, we've seen Ange Postecoglou come in at Tottenham.
