ESB ecars to cut prices across EV charging network

ESB ecars is to cut prices across its public electric vehicle charging network from Friday 21 June.

Unit rates for high-power chargers is to reduce by 13%, fast chargers reduce by 12% and standard chargers reduce by 8%.

Meanwhile, contactless payments will also be available on high-power chargers from the end of this week. It now has over 1,600 public charge points in place across the country with an average reliability rate of 98%.
