The remaining challenges to agreeing a deal on the Northern Ireland protocol cannot be understated, despite a visit by the British Prime Minister to Northern Ireland having ‘upped the ante’, Tánaiste Micheál Martin has said.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs was speaking to the Business Post as Rishi Sunak, the British Prime Minister, travelled to Belfast to meet with Northern Ireland parties, as speculation grows that a deal on the Northern Ireland protocol is close.
