The National Lottery has confirmed where in the country the two Irish EuroMillions jackpot winners hail from
While there was no winner of the €17 million jackpot up for grabs in Tuesday's main Euromillions draw, two people in Ireland will be feeling very happy tonight because they’ve won the €500,000 jackpot on offer in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
National Lottery chiefs have revealed that one of the winning tickets was sold in Co Wicklow and the other ticket was purchased in Co Clare. The shops which sold the lucky tickets, which are now worth €500,000, are set to be revealed by Lotto bosses in the coming days. No one managed to scoop the mammoth €17 million jackpot on offer, although seven players across did come agonisingly close to bagging the huge prize as they missed out on becoming millionaires by just one correct number.
EuroMillions Plus players in Clare and Wicklow are now being urged to check their tickets to see if they have won the €500,000 prize. The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] to arrange claiming their prize at Lottery HQ.
