Sweden has won Eurovision2023 🎤

TOPSHOT - English singer Alesha Dixon, Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina and English actress Hannah Waddingham present the first semi-final of the 2023 Eurovision Song contest at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, northern England, on May 9, 2023.

The sight of a Eurovision final without Irish representation is becoming all too familiar but thousands here are still expected to tune in to see how the annual song contest plays out in Liverpool. As a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, last year's winners were unable to host this year's competition so the United Kingdom took over hosting duties.

The Liverpool Arena will host the final tonight, Saturday May 13, where 26 acts will battle it out for the honour to be crowned 2023 champions. The running order for this year's final has already been determined, with bookmakers' favourites Sweden set to take the stage in ninth spot, while the UK will close the show out.

The grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest airs on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player from 8pm, and you can follow us here for all updates.
