The band have achieved a lot of success over the past few years
Ireland are being represented by the band Wild Youth at the first Eurovision semi final in Liverpool this Tuesday.
Wild Youth are the first band to represent Ireland in four decades. Conor previously tweeted that he would like the band to represent Ireland on an international stage. Since then, they have gone from strength to strength, supporting the likes of Niall Horan, Lewis Capaldi, The Script, Mumford and Sons, and Westlife.
Speaking to Beat a few years ago, he said: "It used to affect me a lot towards the start because I was always a bit of a dreamer as a kid and people used to put that down a little bit. But she always believed in me. Instagram The other three band members have kept any potential relationships under wraps and away from the public eye.
"We have cut all ties with Ian Banham and will not have him on or near our team or Eurovison journey. We are so sorry for anyone offended by his comments."
