Eurovision star Bambie Thug has shared that she will not be able to take part in a performance planned for this evening due to a health emergency.
Bambie shared that they were 'really sorry' for the last minute cancellation, but nothing could be done.The 31-year-old from Macroom in Cork had an event scheduled with the independent Eurovision blog and YouTube channel Wiwibloggs on Saturday. Bambie has been facing some backlash for continuing in the Eurovision contest amid controversy over the competition's inclusion of Israel in the line-up despite the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
"Trust yourself Bambie. You are doing amazing and we are all proud of you, but the most important thing is looking after you," One fan wrote.
