New car purchases reach 120,500 from January to October as registrations contracted last month
The Irish car market is back to pre-Covid levels despite a downturn in new car sales last month, according to new data from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry .
Just shy of 120,500 new cars were sold from January to October this year, up 15.6 per cent on the same period in 2022 and an increase of 3.8 per cent compared on 2019.
