Irish actress Eve Hewson is reportedly in talks to star in the new film from Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg .

Spielberg's new "event movie" is scheduled for release in May 2026 and will reportedly star Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, and Oscar winner Colin Firth. The film is based on a story by Spielberg with a screenplay by David Koepp, a frequent Spielberg collaborator, who also wrote the scripts for Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
