Yerry Mina confronts angry Everton fans as Anthony Gordon is roadblocked outside Goodison Park EFC
The Toffees are certainly in relegation form after narrowly avoiding dropping out of the Premier League last season, and supporters have had enough.clash due to a ‘real and credible threat to their safety and security’.
And things quickly spiralled out of control at full-time, with Everton players unable to leave the ground uninterrupted. Fans were then heard telling the 21-year-old ‘get out of our club’ and ‘you’re not fit to wear the shirt’ as he remained in his car unable to move.Colombian international Mina, who was an unused substitute for the game, did get out of his car, but was chastised by angry fans, with one in full conversation with the defender.
Mina’s response was less audible, but he seemingly said ‘I love the club’ and appeared to point at the badge, which earned another response.Mina seemed to earn some respect“All we want is passion. Show us a bit of passion. Start speaking up lad, show them you’re the man.Mina received a handshake from supporters, who also applauded before police escorted him away from the scene.
