As the now 11 new islanders make the South African villa their home for the next eight weeks, there were a lot of mixed opinions but none of those were about the new host.With an inundated amount of tweets from fans and former islanders, Maya was definitely an instant hit on the show, with many wondering why it took this long to have her on.
Maya made her debut after Laura Whitmore announced she would be standing down as host following a three-season stint, and it wasn't long before Maya was announced as her replacement. While us Irish fans missed seeing one of our own on the screen this year, there was something about Maya that had everyone's hearts.
