Bond fans were surprised to see bookies suspend betting on the next 007 as reports emerged that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has won the role.
It will also be the first Bond film to be released after Daniel last appeared in 2021’s No Time To Die - however, no new film title or release date has been confirmed. Film fans may already be aware of Aaron’s film back catalogue - which is filled with adrenalin fuelled adventures. Here are all the details of Bond favourite Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
TV roles followed soon after with a role in a 2001 show called Armadillo and then he played a character named Zac Clough on ITV ’s iconic cop show The Bill. Aaron appeared as superhero Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Films Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron. He played a character named Ives in the Christopher Nolan film Tenet in 2020, appeared alongside Brad Pitt in action film Bullet Train in 2022, and will this year be seen in Sony-Marvel film Kraven the Hunter, action flick The Fall Guy and horror film Nosferatu.
The couple have previously discussed how they fell for each other - with Sam previously telling Harper’s Bazaar: "We were very professional through the entire film… No funny business at all… As soon as we finished, he told me he was going to marry me. We had never been on a date, or even kissed."
