There is a voluntary ban on the sale of alcohol in Dublin City Centre off-licences today to ensure a smooth running of events takes place for the parade. The ban will remain in place until 4pm today
Every year people around the country gather to celebrate and this year is expected to be the biggest ever, as the Dublin parade is back and will host over 4,000 participants.
It is understood that the ban will be ‘voluntary’ and will not affect sales of alcohol in restaurants and bars, the Mirror reports.
