Preparations are shifting into high gear outside the Dolby Theater for this weekend’s Oscars. ABC News’ Will Ganss has the details on Hollywood’s biggest night.NEW YORK -- Final preparations are underway for the 94th Academy Awards and a long awaited return to Hollywood's glamourous normalcy after a muted ceremony and ratings low last year.
On Wednesday the academy squashed one pre-show controversy by confirming that “West Side Story” star Rachel Zegler will be a presenter, a reversal that came after several days of uproar when the actor noted on social media she didn’t have an Oscar invite. While most of the presenters have some connection to the film industry, some names like DJ Khaled, Tony Hawk, Kelly Slater and Shaun White have been headscratchers.Organizers have promised that they will keep the broadcast to three hours and Packer wants to make it as entertaining as possible while still honoring the nominees and winners.
