Dinnie, a first offender, also of Cambuslang, pleaded guilty to a single charge which stated that he acted with the intention that himself or others would look at an image of her doing a private act.Glasgow Sheriff Court heard Dinnie was at the birthday party from 2pm with his partner and former partner also in attendance."The witness saw that Dinnie was using his phone, taking a video of the girl's legs and her underwear. The witness then pulled up Dinnie who admitted his wrongdoings.
The lawyer added:"He has had to move address and he is extremely isolated as a result of his conduct."She added:"I appreciate you appear as a first offender at a relatively advanced age but this was a serious offence which was sexual towards a child." Dinnie was ordered to undertake 140 hours of unpaid work and was placed under supervision as well as the sex offenders' register for two years.
