Former Love Island host Caroline Flack's final TV appearance before tragic death aged 40
Former Love Island host Caroline Flack last appeared on screens two months ago, appearing alongside Rylan Clark-Neal on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two in December 2019.Tributes have poured in for the TV presenter. A lawyer for the Flack family confirmed that Caroline took her own life and was found in her east London flat on Saturday.
Caroline was due to stand trial on March 4 after pleading not guilty to assault by beating following an early-morning altercation with her boyfriend Lewis Burton. Caroline stunned Rylan by revealing that she was not asked to take part in the show - and that she actually rang up producers herself. "You add this whole chapter to your life you never thought you’d have. I think I asked to do it as well. I asked them."She spoke of the "amazing" dating series she had hosted over the summer, and for the past five series, coming to a close in August.
