Ex oficial de seguridad escolar de Long Beach acusado de asesinato en el tiroteo fatal de Mona Rodríguez

El agente de seguridad escolar de Long Beach, Eddie F. González, es acusado de asesinato por la muerte a tiros de Mona Rodríguez.

Se presentaron cargos de asesinato contra un exoficial de seguridad escolar de Long Beach que disparó a una joven de 18 años desarmada cerca de una escuela preparatoria el mes pasado, anunciaron los fiscales el miércoles.

“Este caso realmente ilustra la importancia de responsabilizar a los funcionarios públicos”, señaló. “Especialmente los funcionarios públicos a quienes se les confía la seguridad de nuestra familia e hijos”. Una de las jóvenes era estudiante en Millikan High School, indicó. La familia de Rodríguez señaló anteriormente que ni ella ni las otras dos personas en el automóvil eran estudiantes de la escuela.

“Es una muerte lamentable e innecesaria que dejó a un bebé de 6 meses sin madre, una familia sin hija y claramente una pérdida tremenda para toda nuestra comunidad”, enfatizó Gascón.
