Maltese side Balzan appointed ex-Finn Harps manager Dave Rogers as their new manager in June.
Dave Rogers wants to make Kerry FC defender Kevin Williams his first arrival from the League of Ireland to his Maltese side Balzan.
The former Shelbourne, St Patrick’s Athletic and Dundalk centre-half took on the role on the Mediterranean island in early-June, almost a year after he stepped down as Finn Harps boss.READ MORE: Stephen Kenny warns against complacency after convincing win over VaduzWilliams is a former Kerry FC and Cork City academy prospect. His first taste of senior football came at Cobh Ramblers, and from there he moved to Germany in 2021.
The versatile defender played for Inter Leipzig and FSV Union Fürstenwalde, before moving home to Kerry in time for their League of Ireland bow last year. He has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season, but now looks set to swap his hometown club for Balzan, who appeared in the Europa Conference League last year.
