An updated weather warning from the Met Office has been issued for the central belt bringing heavy rain, winds and some thunder from Sunday and into Monday.
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain to hit central Scotland tonight has been issued by the Met Office .
Glasgow is not directly affected but surrounding areas including North, East and South Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, South Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute are all highlighted on the map.
