Fans may be glad to hear season five will head in a lighter direction, after the show's fourth season grappled with issues intended to mirror the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.before the season launched in 2021, showrunner Michelle Paradise said:"We were in lockdown when we started to shoot the season.
But the pandemic, it was and is such a huge part of all of us as a global community. We couldn't help but explore some of the things in our storytelling for season 4, it was such a big thing."season 4 she was excited for fans to watch Sonequa-Martin Green said:"Oh yeah!
