Spurs and Liverpool are among the long-term admirers of the England international but neither side made a concrete move for the midfielder in the summer window.
Eze had a release clause worth around £68million in his contract but it expired during the off-season., 4 September) that the clause will reactivate in 2025 – opening the door to more potential interest. Sources say Eze pushing to secure a move to a top club could force Palace to come to the negotiating table and thrash out a bargain fee for the attacking midfielder.He is under contract at Selhurst Park until June 2027 after penning his most recent extension in November 2023.
The 26-year-old is now a regular in the England set-up and has watched ex-teammate Michael Olise become a key man for Bayern Munich after leaving Palace in the summer.Eze has made eight appearances for Palace so far this season, notching three goals and one assist. He enjoyed the most fruitful season of his career in the 2023-24 campaign, notching 11 goals and six assists in 31 games.
