Lewis Hamilton arrived in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix paddock on race day wearing all red ahead of his switch to Ferrari, despite still having one more farewell race for Mercedes
Formula 1 fans are convinced Lewis Hamilton knew what he was doing as he arrived in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix paddock on Sunday wearing all red.
So, naturally, he turned heads when he rocked up to the paddock at the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday wearing an all-red outfit. Fans were quick to notice and to take to social media to speculate that it was a deliberate sartorial choice from the seven-time champion. Hamilton has spent 12 seasons racing for Mercedes and, during that time, has enjoyed an extraordinary amount of success. Six of his seven titles have been won behind the wheel of a Silver Arrows while he also contributed to eight consecutive constructors' championship victories.
Team principal Toto Wolff admitted it was the team's fault and said: ""I need to apologise to Lewis, everybody who works hard for him, the set-up we chose was to experiment next year, but we totally let him down. An idiotic mistake, not going early, inexcusable.
