Fable 4 may have just been teased by Xbox, but we’re not convinced Fable4 Fable PlaygroundGames XboxShowcase
It’s been a while since we heard anything about Playground’s upcoming take on the Fable series, but that could be about to change very soon.for next week’s Xbox Showcase, shot from the POV of someone finding their controller covered in glitter, leading a trail through their house to their PC which showed the logo for the upcoming event and the caption “seems important.
There’s a couple of reasons for this – the glitter being the main one, as it’s given the video a feel reminiscent of the magical sparkles used in theand commonly used in previous entries in the series to lead you to your objective. There’s also the music, which does give more of a feel of something magical and a little bit jaunty, which would suit the Fable universe well and doesn’t seem to fit with the hashtag used in the tweet – that for Starfield .
Of course, there’s some aspects that mean we’re a little sceptical that this teaser whether this teaser is for Fable specifically, aside from the obvious hashtag. Though the music does seem like a good fit, there’s a good chance that what’s been used is just some generic library music, and the glitter could be just a reference to stars in the aforementioned Starfield.
As previously noted, the new Fable was originally announced all the way back in 2020, and will be developed by Playground Games, normally responsible for the Forza Horizon series.
