FAI bosses have yet to sign off on a managerial appointment taking place this week, with yet another delay likely.
David Courell has taken over as interim FAI chief executive with immediate effect following Hill’s exit from the association. Staff at the FAI were called to a meeting at 11.00am yesterday where news of Hill’s departure was communicated to them.
