A number of empty seats were visible at the Aviva Stadium during Saturday evening's clash as many fans pointed the finger of blame at the FAI over their ticket policy
The FAI's decision to sell tickets for the Republic of Ireland's clash with Belgium in a package with the Switzerland friendly on Tuesday has angered some supporters.
The Virgin Media panel, including former Ireland manager Mick McCarthy, spoke about the issue ahead of kick-off, with McCarthy stating that a 5pm Saturday kick-off in Dublin against Belgium should be sold out.It was pointed out by the panel that it might be too much to expect people from down the country to travel up and down to Dublin twice in a number of days, with some having to take work off to make Tuesday's game against the Swiss.
