A new television season is upon us, and RTE has a whole host of new shows and series to get stuck into - including the 35th anniversary of much loved soap Fair City
The long-running Dublin based soap opera is gearing up to celebrate 35 years on screen, and script writers have pulled out all of the stops to deliver an unforgettable anniversary for viewers to sink their teeth into.
Fair City bosses are keeping details of what's in store for the anniversary under wraps, but an RTE spokesperson teased: "As Fair City prepares to celebrate its 35th anniversary, one Carrigstown resident fights for their life, and family and neighbours are left reeling from secrets uncovered." In new series To Hell & Back with Ray Goggins, the adventurer and former special forces soldier takes A-list Irish celebrities on extreme outdoor adventures in some of the most inhospitable, hostile environments on the planet.
Anna Geary's dating show Love in the Country has been renewed while The Money List with Baz Ashmawy will challenge teams of strangers from all over Ireland to test their knowledge and wit for a chance to win big.
